THE NEW STUDENT

Hello, my name is Mark. I live in New York and I love this city. New York is a very important city in United States. I go to the Washington High School. I am 14 years old and I go to the second year of ESO. Ok, this is my live. But one day, the daily routine changed. I’m going to tell this story.
“Hello, boys and girls” my teacher shouts “we have got among us a new student, her name is Katrina”. “Like the hurricane” Paul says.
All the class laughs and the teacher says “Silence please, Paul, you haven’t got a break today”. The new girl has got a long and black hair. She isn’t tall and her eyes are brown and small. She’s French, but she speaks English very well. She sits with me. I say “do you like New York?” She doesn’t answer but she moves the head and I understand that she says yes. Katrina plays with the other girls at the break, they play basketball. Katrina is the best player in that game. In the classroom she finishes the works very fast. “Oh, no, today is the gym’s exam” Celia says. The gym’s exam is a bad exam, because we have to do a lot of very difficult exercises.
The first child that past the exam is Roland, he is a Ukrainian boy. He is very tall and strong. He runs fast, he’s a very god child. But, he’s a donkey in the classroom. Katrina, Roland and I are the people that past the exam. It is very difficult, but, I past this exam because my father is a basketball player and I entrain all the days with he. Katrina past de exam because she’s a god basketball player and she plays in a basketball team, the New York basketball team. This girl is fantastic, I think I’m in love.

A SHORT HISTORY

Last year when I had my first outing, I didn't want to return to
school, and was all Friday afternoon begging my mom to get
me out of this school and my mother told me she was going to think about it.
Well, that night I slept next to her, but my little sister, Elizabeth, was sick and so she had to give her medicine at forty-thirty.
When she had to give my sister the medicine she turned on the light saying : "AVE MARIA PURISIMA"
Then I woke up crying and started praying " OH SEÑORA MIA,
OH MADRE MIA YO ME OFREZCO DE TODO A VOS Y EN ... " And my mom started laughing, when I opened my eyes I remember that I was in my house.
On Saturday I told my mother that I wanna return at the boarding-school, because sometimes I missed these place.
It were wonderfull those moments. I still remember somethings
funny that I desire repeat. Sometimes I felt lonely but always I had some friend that help me and hear me.

MY LIVE AND MY INTERESTS

Hello! My name is Max I’m sixty- four, my favourite heavy group is Mago de oz. I don’t like carrots, coffee, eggs and potatoes, and I like the apple, oranges, salad…. I like the fruit.
I like watching football on TV and I don’t like doing the washing up, going to the cinema and studying history … I like listening music, dancing in the birthday and shopping in the city, play the computer and I don’t like go to the park in the bicycle, I like the flowers and my favourite colours is blue and red, I practise the guitar every day in the friend’s house. My friend Bobby plays the saxophone I don’t like the saxophone, my favourite sports are football and tennis, is very interesting and funny, I don’t like the music pop.
My summer holidays are very interesting, I go to Tenerife with my friend and I go to the sea. I like the summer and I don't like the winter and the spring. I live in bungalow whit my dog Dover. I has the garden and the small farm, I like the horror film and cowboy film it is very exciting! I has go a girl friend your name is Carmen. She is an english teacher and I live in Valencia she don’t drive the car and she likes museum, the park and go to the shopping in the city. She like the romantic film, she don’t like the war film. She is funny and she don’t popular in Spain she like the houses in the beach, but she live in block in London.
This is my girl friend and the Big Ben she like go to the park in bicycle and she like go to the Canarias in boat or plane, she don’t like the monkeys and the insect, she don’t like the animals.

Bases generals dels concursos

1. Els treballs es podran presentar sobre suport CD o DVD (o disquet de 3.5") a la secretaria del centre fins al dia 11 d’abril, o enviant un correu electrònic a santjordialfacs@gmail.com, no més tard d’aquesta data. (Vegeu també les bases del concurs de cartells.)



2. Els fitxers de text, foto o vídeo presentats s’anomenaran amb el pseudònim de l’autor.



3. En cas de presentar el treball en CD o DVD, aquest mateix pseudònim s’haurà d’escriure en el disc i en un sobre petit i tancat, dins del qual s’indicarà el nom i cognoms, curs i grup del concursant (o dels membres del grup) i fora del qual el concurs i la categoría en què participa.



4. En cas d’enviar el treball per correu electrònic, cal escriure el concurs i categoria en què es participa en el títol del missatge. En el cos del missatge s’inclourà el pseudònim corresponent al treball presentat i s’indicarà el nom i cognoms, curs i grup del concursant (o dels membres del grup). Un professor aliè al jurat s’encarregarà de vetllar per la confidencialitat d’aquestes dades fins a la fi dels concursos. (Si hi ha dubtes sobre l’enviament de treballs consulteu a Artur Tallada o pengeu comentaris al blog dels concursos.)



5. Els treballs que passin un procés de selecció seran exposats al blog http://santjordialfacs.blogspot.com



6. El veredicte es farà públic el dia 23 d’abril coincidint amb els actes de la diada de Sant Jordi.



7. La participació en aquest concurs suposa l’acceptació d’aquestes bases i la decisió del jurat serà inapel·lable.

Mostra-concurs de produccions de vídeo

Participants Podrà participar-hi tot l’alumnat de l’institut, individualment o en grup.
Cada participant (sigui individual o grupal) podrà presentar un únic treball.
Treballs El tema i el gènere (videoclip, documental, narració curta...) són lliures.
El vídeo no podrà excedir els dos minuts de durada.
El format del fitxer haurà de ser wmv (Vídeo de Windows Media) amb unes dimensions de 320 x 240 píxels i un pes màxim de 10 Mb.
Premis Hi haurà tres premis que percebran les següents quantitats:
• 1r premi: 30 euros
• 2n premi: 20 euros
• 3r premi: 10 euros.

Mostra fotogràfica Detalls

Per detall fotogràfic entenem aquelles fotografies que centren la seva atenció en algun fragment d’algun objecte on sigui especialment interessant, bé per la seva textura, forma,color, excepcionalitat...
Les bases són les següents:
Participants Hi podran participar totes les persones aficionades a la fotografia relacionades en l'institut amb qualitat d'alumnes, professorat i personal no docent.
Treballs Cada participant es compromet a realitzar 3 fotografies. L'institut es reserva el dret de fer les ampliacions que consideri convenient, per fer una exposició commemorativa, així com la seva publicació. (En la mesura que sigui possible hi haurà almenys una ampliació per participant.)
Premis Hi haurà un jurat format per 3 professors/es, que decidirà quines fotografies s'exposaran a la mostra i premiarà 3 fotografies del sector alumnes. Els premis seran en metàl·lic i per valor de 36, 24 i 18 euros.

Concurs de cartells

Participants Podrà participar-hi tot l’alumnat de l’Institut, amb un o diversos treballs originals.
Treballs El format del cartell serà DIN A4 en posició vertical i la tècnica lliure.
El cartell haurà de portar la següent inscripció: Sant Jordi 2008
Cada original haurà de presentar-se dins d’un sobre. En aquest sobre, a més del treball, hi haurà un altre sobre petit i tancat, dins del qual s’indicarà el nom i cognoms, curs i grup del concursant. •
El jurat elegirà el treball guanyador i l’usarà com a cartell anunciador dels actes de la diada de Sant Jordi 2008.
Premis Hi haurà tres premis que percebran les següents quantitats:
• 1r premi: 30 euros
• 2n premi: 20 euros• 3r premi: 10 euros

Concurs literari de llengües estrangeres

Participants Pot participar-hi qualsevol alumne del centre.
Treballs Modalitat d’anglès:
a) ESO: Es presentarà. un article escrit en anglès de mitja pàgina DIN A4.
b) Batxillerat i Cicles Formatius: Es presentarà. un article escrit en anglès d’una pàgina DIN A4.
Modalitat de francès: c) Es presentarà un article escrit en francès d’una pàgina DIN A4. El tema serà lliure en totes les modalitats.
Premis Es concedirà un primer i un segon premi per cadascun dels apartats a), b) i c) dotats amb 30 euros els primers i 20 euros els segons premis

Bases del concurs literari de català i castellà

Participants Podrà participar-hi tot l’alumnat de l'Institut, amb un o diversos treballs originals, il·lustrats o no, sense limitació de gènere, en qualsevol de les llengües següents català i/o castellà.
Treballs Hi haurà tres categories 1r cicle d'ESO, 2n cicle d'ESO i ensenyament postobligatori. L’extensió màxima és de 5 pàgines DIN A4 i 1 o 2 imatges per pàgina, 10 pàgines a postobligatori.
Premis A cada categoria es podran donar tres premis:
• 1r premi, per valor de 30 euros.
• 2n premi, per valor de 20 euros.
• 3r premi, per valor de 10 euros.
